1 Corinthians 10:31

Everything we do should be done for the purpose of bringing glory to God. The glory of God is the grand theme of the Bible, the highest purpose of missions, the ruling principle of the Christian life, and the all-encompassing purpose to which all other purposes are subordinate.

O God of glory, when we "glorify" You, we do not cause You to become glorious, but we praise You for the gloriousness that already pertains to You. Reveal to us more and more the glory of who You are and of Your mighty acts, and let us gladly order our lives for the purpose of more fully praising You for Your glory.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31
