Sent with His Peace, Sent with a Purpose

The disciples were afraid. Hiding behind closed doors.Wrestling with confusion, grief, and fear of what might come next.
And then — Jesus enters.
Not with judgment. Not with rebuke. But with peace.
“Peace to you!”
This was more than a greeting. It was a gift. A divine reassurance that everything they feared had been conquered — death, sin, and separation.
And then He speaks a commission that changes everything:
“As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
What an incredible moment.
The same Jesus who was sent by the Father — full of love, truth, healing, power, and purpose — now sends us.
He doesn’t just call us to believe. He calls us to go . To step out from behind our locked doors — of fear, comfort, or doubt — and carry His mission to the world.
But He doesn’t send us empty-handed.
He sends us with His peace. He sends us with His Spirit. He sends us with His authority.
Maybe today, you’ve felt stuck or unsure of your purpose. Maybe fear has kept you quiet, waiting, hiding.
Let this verse stir something in your heart: You are sent. You have been chosen, called, and commissioned by the One who conquered the grave.
And you don’t need to be perfect — you just need to be willing.
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for calling me — not just to believe in You, but to be sent by You. Fill me with Your peace, the peace that quiets my fear and fuels my purpose. Show me where You’re sending me today — into my family, my workplace, my neighborhood — and give me the courage to go with love, grace, and truth. I am Yours. Send me. Amen.
Takeaway: You are not forgotten. You are not disqualified. You are sent.
Walk in His peace — and step into your purpose. 🌍🕊️
