The Mighty One Has Done Great Things

Verse of the Day:“For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name.”— Luke 1:49 (NKJV)

These words flowed from the heart of Mary, the mother of Jesus, as she praised God for His goodness.

Her circumstances weren’t simple. She was young, misunderstood, and facing an unknown future — yet her focus wasn’t on her fears. It was on the faithfulness of God.

When we praise Him for the great things He’s done, we also worship Him for who He is — holy, perfect, and unchanging.

Prayer:Lord, You are mighty, and You have done great things in my life. Help me to never forget Your goodness. Remind me to pause and give You praise — not just for what You’ve done, but for who You are. Holy is Your name, now and forever. Amen.
