All our words and praises are but nothing if not backed up by the content of our character, of walking through this life upright in the word of God showing those around us respect and compassion. God isn't interested in lip service, for His powers raining down on us from above, His righteousness awaits those who decide its time to truly become what we preach.
God my Father and my Shepherd, rain down upon me Your blessings, as I vow to walk and embody what Your word instructs. Nurture me with the courage and character to act in accordance with Your truth, and spare me from evil. For I know and I wish not be judged on what I have merely said in this life Lord, but in how I have made it manifest. In Jesus' name I pray, show me the light and the way, Amen.
