Faith in the Unseen

Verse of the Day:“Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’”John 20:29 (NIV)

There’s something tender and human about Thomas.

We call him “Doubting Thomas,” but really—he was just like us. He had walked with Jesus, heard His voice, seen His miracles… but when the pain of loss hit, when Jesus was crucified, Thomas felt the sting of hope shattered.

So when the others said, “We’ve seen the Lord!”, he couldn’t wrap his heart around it.“Unless I see... I won’t believe,” he said.

But then, Jesus showed up.Not with condemnation. Not with shame. With compassion.

He met Thomas right where he was — in the middle of doubt, sorrow, and longing — and gently invited him to believe again.

And then Jesus said something extraordinary — not just to Thomas, but to you and me: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

That’s you. That’s every heart that has clung to hope without physical proof.Every tear-stained prayer whispered in the dark.Every moment you said, “I trust You, God,” when your world made no sense.

Jesus calls that kind of faith blessed.

Faith isn’t the absence of doubt — it’s choosing to trust even when the path is unclear. It’s believing in love, grace, and eternal hope even when our eyes can’t see it.

And friend, that matters deeply to Jesus. He sees you — believing, hoping, trusting — and He calls it beautiful.

You may not have seen His scars with your own eyes, but you’ve felt His touch on your heart. You’ve heard Him speak through His Word. You’ve known His peace when everything else fell apart.

And Jesus says: That’s faith. And that is blessed.

Prayer:Lord, I haven’t seen You face to face — but I believe. Strengthen my faith in the unseen. Remind me that even when I don’t have all the answers, You are still present, still good, still God. Thank You for calling my faith blessed, even when it feels small. I trust You. Amen.

Takeaway:You may not have seen Him, but He sees you.And your faith — quiet, raw, and real — is deeply precious to Him.Keep believing. You are blessed. ✨🙏
