Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly[a] with your God. Micah 6:8

Does God ask too much of us? At times it may seem impossible to live the way that He wants us to, but is it really so difficult to love our neighbors? To act justly? To be humble? Stop and think about which one is actually more difficult: living as God intends, with faith, mercy, and love, or a life without them.

Forgive me, O Lord, for not always living in a way that is meaningful in Your eyes. Help us to walk humbly by Your side, pick us up when we fall, and do the same to others on their journey. I will live as You command and leave everything else to You, my God. I ask all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
